Have you ever dropped something in the water? Are you looking for lost treasure? The PADI Search and Recovery DiverySpecialty course will teach you effective ways to find objects underwater and bring them to the surface.

You'll learn search and recovery dive planning, organisation, procedures, techniques and potential problems. You'll also cover limited visibility, search patterns and safe object recovery using lift devices.

The PADI Search & Recovery certification counts toward your Master Scuba Diver rating and is run over 4 open water dives with your instructor.

Course Pre- requisites

Must be a PADI Open Water Diver with an Underwater Navigation Speciality

Advanced Open Water

What you need to bring to the course

Course Materials with relevant knowledge reviews completed -(these can be picked up from DJL before the course starts)

A dive compass and dive slate are required specialist equipment, please talk to your instructor or a member of Davy Jones Locker staff for advise
Proof of previous certification

What's Next?

If a certain form of diving, such as Deep or Night diving, is of interest then maybe focus in on one of our other Speciality Courses, but if you've been seriously bitten by the bug then maybe you would like to join our Master Scuba Diver Programme, the highest level of recreational diving.
