PADI Tec Basics course
The PADI Tec Basics course is a bridge from recreational to technical diving, providing divers with an opportunity to gain exposure to technical diving.
The course offers a great chance to learn and practice entry-level technical diving skills. Tec Basics provides a recreational diver with a fun glimpse at what is technical diving is all about; extending your range safely with ease and confidence.
This course builds the core skills needed to progress through to the next level of PADI/ DSAT Technical diving courses. PADI Tec Basics dives are within recreational limits, and assists divers in developing the skills that will be covered in Tec 40. This course is also a fantastic way for recreational divers to refine their skills.
PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization)

DSAT Gas Blender
In today's world, more people are learning the benefits of diving with enriched air.
The DSAT Gas Blender course will train you to become a competent and qualified gas blender, allowing you to provide gas mixes to appropriately certified divers. You will learn the physical properties of oxygen, its associated hazards, handling requirements and what cleaning equipment is necessary. Finally, you will learn the five methods of obtaining the desired enriched air nitrox mix and the various methods used to obtain proper helium mixes.

Scuba Equipment Repair
Scuba Equipment Repair course
Davy Jones Tech teaches the basics of scuba equipment repair, we look at all major manufacturers equipment from regulators, tanks, bcds, valves and just about every piece of scuba equipment strip down and rebuild. This course is often a precursor to gaining a manufacturers service technician course to understand the basics of regulator repair and service. We regularly run this course as part of our dive shop operations package.

BSAC Compressor Operator course
The BSAC compressor operator course teaches how to safely run and maintain a dive shop compressor. The course covers compressor design and theory and various types of compressors found in dive shop operations. We then look at safely filling scuba tanks and running the compressor essential for any divemasters or instructors looking to work in the dive industry. On the second day we look at compressor maintenance such as gas filters, oil changes, diagnostic of compressor problems, changing engines and pipe work. We run this course as part of the dive shop operations package and ask Gas Blender students to undertake the BSAC compressor operator first so that they can safely run the compressor.

TDI Advanced Nitrox
The TDI Advanced Nitrox Course qualifies divers to use enriched air nitrox from EAN 21 through EAN 100 within your current certification level to a maximum depth of 40 metres/130 feet during dives hat do not require staged decompression. Often taught in conjunction with the TDI Decompression Procedures course, this can be considered the foundation of your technical diving career. Advanced Nitrox is also a great course for those wanting to extend their bottom times in shallower depths such as scientific diver, and a must for SCR or CCR divers. The course cover topics like:
